OFFICIAL RULES

This Sweepstakes is intended for viewing and participation in the fifty (50) United States, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico only and shall be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the fifty (50) United States, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico. Please do not enter if you are not a legal resident of, and not located in, the fifty (50) United States, Washington D.C., or Puerto Rico at time of entry. VOID IN THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS AND OTHER U.S. TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS, AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

  1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:

    Starts December 18, 2025 at 12:00:00 AM Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends January 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM PT (the "Sweepstakes Period").

  2. ELIGIBILITY:

    To enter and be eligible to win a Sweepstakes Prize (as defined in Rule #6 below), you must: (i) be a legal resident of the 50 United States, Washington, D.C., or Puerto Rico (excluding residents of the U.S. Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories and possessions, and where prohibited by law), (ii) have attained the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, (iii) have a valid email address, (iv) be a member of the free Microsoft Rewards Program (the “Program”) at the time of entry, and (v) be a student either currently enrolled in or accepted to enroll at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical/trade school in the United States, Washington D.C., or Puerto Rico (“Eligible School”) for study in a full or part time degree program or technical skills training program in the 2026 academic year (“Eligible Student”), or a parent/legal guardian or grandparent of an Eligible Student. An Eligible Student who has been accepted at the time of entry must be enrolled in an Eligible School by the time of prize acceptance. Membership in the Program is subject to the Microsoft Services Agreement (including the “Rewards” section) available at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=530144. Persons in any of the following categories are NOT eligible to participate or win a Sweepstakes Prize: (a) any person who, at any time on or after December 18, 2025, was or is a director, officer, agent, representative, or employee of Microsoft Corporation (“Sponsor”) or its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, or service agencies, who is directly involved in the planning or execution of the Sweepstakes; (b) any other individuals engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for the Sweepstakes or engaged in the administration or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, with the entities listed in 2(a), the “Sweepstakes Entities”); (c) persons who are or purport to be immediate family members (defined as biological or step-mother/ father, sister, brother, daughter, son, dependent or spouse of any of the foregoing) of any person in any of the preceding categories, regardless of where they live, or who reside in the same household as any person in any of the preceding categories; and (d) persons who Sponsor is prohibited from allowing to participate in the Program under applicable law. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

  3. HOW TO ENTER:

    NO PURCHASE NECESSARY (SEE RULE #4 FOR DETAILS).

    • From the Promotion landing page at http://aka.ms/tuitiongiveaway (the “Website”) log into Microsoft Rewards using your Microsoft Account or create a new Microsoft Account free of charge (“Account”).

      Please ensure that your full legal name is entered in your Microsoft Account prior to participating in order to be eligible to win a Sweepstakes Prize. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification.

      When you initially visit the Website, click on the link provided to claim one (1) initial entry into the Sweepstakes draw. (See Rule #5 for draw details.)

      Limit: This entry method (a) may be completed one (1) time per person for a maximum of one (1) entry per person.

      Note: you must first claim your one (1) initial entry as instructed above before clicking on the other activity links described below in this Rule #3 in order to receive entries for those additional activities.

    • On the Microsoft Rewards redeem page, Account holders may redeem Microsoft Rewards points to gain entry into the Sweepstakes draw during the Sweepstakes Period as follows:

      • 100 Microsoft Rewards points = 1 Sweepstakes entry
      • 250 Microsoft Rewards points = 5 Sweepstakes entries
      • 500 Microsoft Rewards points = 25 Sweepstakes entries

    • On the Website, click on the link to download Bing Wallpaper in order to receive five (5) entries into the Sweepstakes draw.

      Limit: This entry method (c) may be completed one (1) time per person for a maximum of five (5) entries per person.

    • On the Website, click on the link to visit the “GroupMe” group chat app landing page, to learn more about the app, in order to earn five (5) entries into the Sweepstakes draw.

      Limit: This entry method (d) may be completed one (1) time per person for a maximum of five (5) entries per person.

    • On the Website, click on the link to visit Bing.com and log in using your Account; when you complete three (3) Bing searches (limit one (1) per “Day”, as defined below) within a period of 14 Days, days you will receive five (5) entries into the Sweepstakes draw.

      For the purposes of these Official Rules, a “Day” begins at 12:00:00 AM PT and ends at 11:59:59 PM PT.

      Limit: This entry method (e) may be completed one (1) time per person for a maximum of five (5) entries per person.

    All online entries must be received by January 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 PM PT.

    Sponsor may, from time to time by various methods, offer opportunities to receive Sweepstakes entries online either without redeeming points or for a lesser number of points than outlined above.

    Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address or Microsoft Rewards Account. Any attempt by any entrant to use multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, Microsoft Rewards Accounts, or any other methods in an attempt to defraud the entry process or gain additional entries will void that entrant's entries and entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of disqualification, any Sweepstakes Prize that entrant might have been otherwise entitled to will not be awarded.

    In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted with the Program registration. Authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access or online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the registered email address. Each entrant may be required to show proof of being an authorized account holder. If you do not have Internet access via a personal computer, your local library or Internet café may be able to provide access to the Internet and a number of Internet service providers and other companies offer free email accounts.

  4. ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY:

    To receive twenty-five (25) entries without purchase and without redeeming any Microsoft Rewards points, visit www.microsoft.com/rewards and follow the links and instructions to create an Account (if you do not already have an Account). Then, on a 3" x 5" card or piece of paper, hand-print your full name, complete address, phone number (with area code), date of birth, and the email address associated with your Microsoft Rewards Account, and mail it to: “Microsoft Rewards Tuition Giveaway, Free To Enter”, P.O. Box 8554, Big Sandy, TX 75755-8554. For each card received, you will receive twenty-five (25) entries into the Sweepstakes draw. Requests must be postmarked by February 2, 2026 and received by February 9, 2026.

    Only one (1) request per outer postmarked envelope allowed. Entries mechanically reproduced or made in any fashion other than as specified herein are void.

    Entries submitted by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means, entries by any means which subvert the entry process and entries made in any fashion other than as specified herein are void. All entries become property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

  5. RANDOM SWEEPSTAKES DRAW:

    On February 12, 2026, at approximately 2:00 PM PT, an independent judging organization (the “Sweepstakes Judges”) will randomly draw one (1) Entry for the Sweepstakes Prize (Potential Prize Winner and, if verified, “Prize Winner”) from among all eligible entries received. The odds of winning the prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Potential Winner will be subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. In the event a parent or legal guardian of an Eligible Student entered on behalf of an Eligible Student, such parent or legal guardian will remain the Prize Winner (subject to and to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules) and must follow the instructions outlined in Rule #7 below for their Eligible Student to receive the benefit of the Sweepstakes Prize.

  6. SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE (1 available):

    The following prize (“Sweepstakes Prize”) is available to be won:

    One (1) prize package consisting of:

    • A maximum of USD $25,000.00 in tuition for the 2026 academic year, which shall be paid directly by Sponsor or its agent to the Eligible Student’s Eligible School on behalf of the confirmed Prize Winner;
    • USD $6,500.00 (awarded as a check payable to Prize Winner) which Prize Winner may use towards payment of applicable income taxes; and
    • One (1) Surface Laptop, Copilot+ PC, 15-inch (Snapdragon® X Elite (12 Core), 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD).

    Total Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Sweepstakes Prize: Up to USD $32,800.00.

    Microsoft products awarded as Sweepstakes Prizes (or portions thereof) are awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose); you assume the entire risk of quality and performance, and should the Sweepstakes Prize prove defective, you assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair. This is so even if the Microsoft product mentions a warranty on its packaging, in a manual, or in marketing materials; no warranty applies to Microsoft products awarded as Sweepstakes Prizes. Microsoft does not give any warranty of any kind, express or implied (including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) on products made by a company other than Microsoft that are awarded as Sweepstakes Prizes. Please contact the manufacturer to see if it is covered by that company’s warranty.

    Any difference between the stated approximate retail value and the actual value of a Sweepstakes Prize will not be awarded. The Sweepstakes Prize is not transferable, or redeemable for cash, and must be accepted as awarded, with no substitutions of any kind, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a Sweepstakes Prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.

    All federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes), if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are each Winner’s responsibility, regardless of whether a Sweepstakes Prize is used in whole or in part. All Sweepstakes Prize details are at the Sponsor's sole discretion.

  7. HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE:

    Potential Winner will be contacted by phone, email and/or mail at the address, email, or telephone number provided with the entry, with instructions on how to claim the Sweepstakes Prize. Potential Winner will be required to provide confirmation of Eligible Student’s acceptance and enrollment in the 2026 academic year into a qualifying program at an Eligible School, as well as documentation from the Eligible School including the Eligible Student’s tuition account statement(s) and any other documentation that may reasonably be requested by Sponsor or its agent(s) in order to complete payment(s) to the Eligible School on behalf of the Eligible Student. In the event the Potential Winner (or corresponding Eligible Student, if applicable) is not enrolled at an Eligible School at time of prize notification, Potential Winner must select “Currently not enrolled at an Eligible School” on the documentation received from Sponsor and will then have until August 31, 2026, for the Eligible Student to enroll at an Eligible School and provide Sponsor with documentation of such to Sponsor’s satisfaction. The Sweepstakes Prize may be payable over one (1) or more semesters within the 2026 academic year, assuming Sponsor has received all required documentation showing tuition payable in 2026. In the event the Eligible Student’s tenure at an Eligible School during the 2026 academic year concludes and/or results in a total cost under USD $25,000, the Potential Winner will not receive the difference in Sweepstakes Prize value and Sponsor will have no further obligation to the Potential Winner. Potential Winner’s (or corresponding Eligible Student’s) failure to be enrolled, maintain enrollment, or failure to provide sufficient proof of being enrolled at an Eligible School may result in forfeiture of the Sweepstakes Prize and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such Potential Winner.

    The Potential Winner will also be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, W9 form, and, where lawful, a publicity release, within five (5) business days from the time it is postmarked as having been sent by the Sponsor or its representative, or the Sweepstakes Prize will be forfeited and, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion, the Sweepstakes Prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. Before the Potential Winner is confirmed as the Prize Winner and receives the Sweepstakes Prize, the (corresponding) Eligible Student must have (or create) a GroupMe account and be (or become) a member of GroupMe Campus for their Eligible School. If the Potential Winner attends an Eligible School that is not part of GroupMe Campus the GroupMe team will work with the Potential Winner to get their school added. If a Potential Winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, declines to accept a Sweepstakes Prize, or Sponsor is unable to contact a Potential Winner within three (3) business days, or in the event that a prize notification or Sweepstakes Prize is returned undeliverable, the Sweepstakes Prize will be forfeited and, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion, the Sweepstakes Prize may be awarded to an alternate Potential Winner. Sponsor may select up to three (3) alternate prize winners for the prize; thereafter, if a potential prize winner cannot be verified in accordance with these Official Rules, the Sweepstakes Prize will not be awarded. Potential Winners may be required to furnish proof of identification.

    Allow between four (4) – six (6) weeks for verification and fulfillment of your Sweepstakes Prize. The Sweepstakes Entities shall not be held responsible for any delays in awarding a Sweepstakes Prize for any reason outside of their control. The Sweepstakes Prize will only be delivered to a verified Winner. Any unclaimed Sweepstakes Prize will not be awarded. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any change of mailing address, email address, and/or telephone number of entrants.

    By accepting a Sweepstakes Prize, Winner agrees and consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and state of residence), voice, social media posts and statements relating to the Sweepstakes or Sponsor, and photographs or other likenesses, without further compensation, notification or permission in any publicity or advertising carried out by Sponsor or any related entities in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed, including the internet, without territorial or time limitation, except where prohibited by law.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

  1. By entering, entrants (i) acknowledge and represent that they are in full compliance with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements and, (ii) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and/or Sweepstakes Judges, made in their sole discretion, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Entrants who have not complied with these Official Rules are subject to disqualification and all associated entries will be void.

  2. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for late, lost, damaged, stolen, misdirected, mutilated, garbled, illegible, or incomplete submissions of requests/entries. Proof of transmission (screenshots or captures, etc.) does not constitute proof of delivery. All entries become the property of Sponsor and in no case shall be returned to sender.

  3. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant's registration in the Sweepstakes (and void all associated entries) or entitlement to a Sweepstakes Prize if, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, it determines or suspects that the entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by tampering, cheating, hacking, deception, or other fraudulent, deceptive or unfair playing practices (including any entries or points generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means or any other means which subvert the entry process).

  4. As a condition of entering, entrants agree (and agree to confirm in writing): (a) to release Sponsor, and its affiliates, Sweepstakes Entities, and each of their officers, directors, employees and agents, from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to participating in the Sweepstakes, the redemption of points, or the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any Sweepstakes Prize or any travel or activity related thereto; (b) that under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages from Sponsor or its affiliates, or the Sweepstakes Entities, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; (c) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any Sweepstakes Prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (d) any and all claims, judgments, and awards in connection with this Sweepstakes shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, and in no event will entrants be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees and court costs.

  5. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Sweepstakes Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Washington, U.S.A., without regard to Washington or any other conflicts of law principles. All entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state, and local courts for Redmond, Washington.

  6. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, modify and/or suspend this Sweepstakes at any time if fraud, technical failures, including any network server or hardware failure, viruses, bugs, errors in programming, or any other errors or other causes (such as force majeure events) impairs the administration, security, integrity or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to randomly select the Winner from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to time of such cancellation. In no event will the Sponsor be liable for more than the stated number of prizes in these Official Rules.

  7. The Sweepstakes Entities do not warrant that access to the Sweepstakes will be uninterrupted. The Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any problems that may arise, including but not limited to: (a) lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet Service Providers, websites, or other connection, availability or accessibility problems arising in connection with or over the course of the Sweepstakes; or (b) communications failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions or hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or (c) failure of personal computers and/or software and hardware configurations, any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of points or entries, or the offering or announcement of any prize or in any winner notification documents; or (d) for any other errors of any kind relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, whether human, mechanical, clerical, electronic, or technical in nature; or (e) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information in connection with the Sweepstakes; or (f) damage to a user's system occasioned by participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading any information necessary to participate in this Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes Entities are also not responsible for lost, late, delayed, garbled, stolen, incomplete, misdirected, illegible, damaged or undelivered mail, email, or entries. Proof of transmission (screenshots, etc.) does not constitute proof of delivery.

DISCLOSURES:

  1. Any attempt by an entrant or other individual, to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorneys' fees) from any such individual, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entrants engaging in any of the foregoing activities may be disqualified (and all associated entries will be void) and will forfeit any Sweepstakes Prize won. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

  2. In the event of any conflict with any Sweepstakes details contained in these Official Rules and Sweepstakes details contained in Sweepstakes Materials (including but not limited to point of sale, television, and print advertising, promotional packaging, and other promotion media), the details of the Sweepstakes as set forth in these Official Rules shall prevail.

  3. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. In particular, Sponsor's employees are not authorized to waive, modify or amend any provision or provisions of these Official Rules in any manner whatsoever.

  4. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws.

  5. This Sweepstakes is solely sponsored by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052.

  6. The winners list for the Sweepstakes will be posted online after the Sweepstakes Prize has been awarded.

  7. Information collected from entrants while entering this Sweepstakes will be used by Microsoft and/or its agents and prize fulfillers acting on Microsoft’s behalf only for the administration and operation of this Sweepstakes and in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Prize Winner’s name may be included in a publicly available winners list.
